Alpine exhibited at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2012, held in Bangkok, Thailand for 14 days from March 26 to April 8, 2012. Despite apprehension concerning the impact of the recent disastrous flooding in the country, the venue was bustling each and every day of the event, which attracted to total of approximately 1.9 million visitors.

The Alpine Booth showcased an impressive lineup of attractive products including the newest model, the ICS-X8. Visitors showed both surprise and eager anticipation of Alpine’s advanced technology which links the ICS-X8 with a Nokia smart phone, allowing users to operate smart phone applications such as Nokia Drive or Nokia Music from the ICS-X8.

Three demo cars were exhibited: a Toyota Alphard, a Toyota Vios, and a Toyota Prius equipped with the sound processor PXA-H800, the TOPVIEW® Camera HCE-C500 and other products.

A big topic at the show was a new feature introduced this year at the event: The awarding of “Best Design Awards” to exhibitors based on questionnaires filled out by visitors. The Alpine Booth won this award in the Accessory Category. The luxurious design of the booth with Alpine Blue as the overall motif expressed Alpine’s high quality and advanced technologies.
